The semi-circular air ducts are used to distribute air from the ventilation unit to the various ventilated spaces. A DBOX air distribution box is also used for this purpose.

Differences between Semi Circular (SC) and Circular (C)

The difference between the Ubbink AE Semi Circular and Circular product lines lies primarily in their shape. The Semi Circular air ducts are semi-round/oval. They are wider and lower than the Circular (round) air ducts. This makes the SC ducts more suitable for applications where space is limited, such as installation in a thin floor or a low ceiling.

Additionally, the Semi Circular air ducts have a greater ventilation capacity. This means that it is less often necessary to install additional ducts to achieve the desired airflow.

Finally, the Semi Circular ducts are always supplied in an antistatic and antibacterial version. This prevents the accumulation of dust and bacteria in your ventilation duct, thus ensuring good air quality!

• Easy to install: The flat shape of the semi-round duct ensures that little space is needed for its installation.
• High ventilation capacity: The SC ducts are suitable for a high airflow of up to 58 m3/h per duct.
• Antistatic and antibacterial: The special plastic of the SC ducts prevents the accumulation of dust and the growth of bacteria.

Connection and assembly

The various components of the Ubbink AE Semi Circular system can be easily connected in an airtight manner using coupling seals. If you order a kit version of, for example, a bend, these seals are included!

The ducts themselves can be easily secured to the substrate with mounting brackets or universal brackets. A bracket should be placed every 2 meters of duct.
